Emerging from a tree cavity is a darling screech
Owlet who doesn't screech but rather uses its voice of whinnies and soft trills. Masterfully carved from burnished antler, Ray Tsalate's little raptor friend is about 1 1/8" tall, 3/4" wide and 5/8" deep. Eyes are from pen shell in iridescent gold lip shell, while a wee beak is from black lip shell. Facial feathers are sweetly etched for that signature whiskered look and wings are heart-shaped, a thoughtful touch.
