Primarily aquatic animals, otters love life in the water where they hunt for food, monkey around and enjoy their families. However otters do spend time on land for activities like resting, grooming and raising their little pups. Sherdine Tsatte is already a fabulous carver, the mother of noted artist Loren Tsalabutie who is mentoring her. Smoothly sculpted from a sun-kissed portion of orange calcite, a turquoise-eyed otter holds a tiny seashell. A lively friend with a sweet spirit measuring a small and approximate 1 3/8" long, 1 3/8" wide and 1" tall.
