Bear is a familiar friend. In Zuni Pueblo a bear is the most prevalent subject of animal fetish carvings. This is due in part, to the fact that a bear is an animal most like humans. Vince's sandstone fetish is a great example of this brotherhood. Upright bears are viewed as especially strong and healing. About 4 1/2" tall, 2 3/8" wide and 1 7/8" deep.
