Through the years, Zuni artists Rosella and Loubert Soseeah have been blessing us with wonderful animal carvings. We're honored to share what the couple refers to as one of their "once in a lifetime creations", a truly gorgeous single strand fetish necklace. They've made necklaces before but they are few and far between thus very collectible. Which sweet animal captures your heart this Valentine's season? Perhaps it's the powerful center standing Bear, the smart bushytails (Coyotes, Foxes or Wolves) or the watery Frogs. Or maybe the earthy Moles, the protective Mountain-Lions (cougars, pumas or panthers) and the independent Bobcats resonate with your soul. The tenacious Badgers might win you over as well. Each personality-plus animal has colorful eyes from turquoise inlays which compliment the iridescence of the red abalone specimens they are individually sculpted from. Bright turquoise nuggets and luscious branch red coral beads are exquisitely laced on the approximately 34" long necklace. The animal's average from about 1/8" long to 7/8" long, and 3/4" wide to 1 3/4" wide. Sterling silver beads and stamped end cone caps finish the hook and eye closure area of the stunning necklace.
