Stewart Quandelacy's late mother Ellen Quandelacy had special talents that included carved equines that are still popular today. They are hard to find yet easy to identify thanks to her singular style. Only after she passed in 2002 did her children begin carving horses. Rich earthy hues take their place in a lovely specimen of Picasso marble sculpted into a gentleĀ Horse that's about 2 1/4" long, 3/8" wide and 1 3/8" tall, by Stewart Quandelacy and Priscilla Lasiloo Quandelacy. A gorgeous crystalline inclusion gives this sweet pony adorable "socks". Peaceful eyes are from turquoise inlays and drilled nostrils smell fresh clover.
