Zuni and Diné jeweler Colin Coonsis grew up watching his mother Rolanda Haloo create stunning inlay jewelry. He was an Electrical Engineer but made a career crossover to jewelry. He's taken the Indigenous art world by storm with contemporary micro inlay works of wearable art since 2004 winning numerous prestigious awards.
A glorious array of colorful turquoise and golden matrix pieces have been painstakingly hand-cut in unique shapes to fit in the exacting stone-to-stone mosaic inlay method that amazingly follow the curves of the ring.
