Sometimes Abby Panteah carves indentations into the sides of her animals nicknaming them thumbprint creatures because your fingers can fit easily into the indentations. Her husband Clayton did the lovely turquoise inlays for the eyes on this approximately 2" long, 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" tall thumbprint ram from an orthoceras fossil stone.
