Through the course of time, water and wind united tiny grains of rock fragments, minerals and organic material to make sandstone. Mike Tucson's turquoise-eyed cougar (
Mountain-lion, puma or panther) is carved from a wonderfully textured sandstone. The natural tawny hues serve this approximately 3 3/8" long, 1" wide and 2" tall feline well. A nicely carved gold lip shell point with nuggety turquoise and heishe shell beads compose the offering bundle given in thanks for a cougar's natural traits of stealth and establishing good boundaries in life.
