Sweet Songs Jay Bird

Daphne and Leland Boone's crested feathered friend, perhaps a jay bird, is carved from lovely obsidian. Thanks to an ancient volcano, hot lava cooled and solidified creating obsidian. Foraging among the season's first seeds, this turquoise-eyed bird is about 2 1/4" tall, 3/4" wide and 1 5/8" deep. Sweet songs heralding the spring season come from this winged one.
