Supersaurus

By Fabian Tsethlikai

Animal: Dinosaur, Material: Serpentine
This offering is sold.

Supersaur was a colossal, plant-eating sauropod dinosaur of the genus Supersaurus that reached a length longer than three standard yellow school buses parked nose to tail, potentially the longest dinosaur overall! It roamed North America including states like Colorado and Wyoming around 153 million years ago during the Late Jurassic Period. It had a long neck and whip-like tail for balance and defense. We adore Fabian Tsethlikai's dinosaurs, perhaps this one is a supersaur friend, sculpted from serpentine and inlaid with turquoise eyes. About 2 5/8" long, 5/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
