In Zuni traditional beliefs, the Sunface symbol represents balance in life; turquoise stands for Father Sky, coral stands for Mother Earth, while mother-of-pearl shell and jet represent all the elements in balance. Geraldine Lonjose's skillful use of the challenging stone-to-stone inlay technique creates this beautiful interpretation of the Zuni Sunface as a pendant to wear close to your heart. Geraldine added a signature double feather accent of mother of pearl shell, jet and sugilite stones. Including the silver bale fixture, this gorgeous handmade sterling silver pendant elegantly hangs at about 1 1/2" long by 1/2" wide. Signed by the artist.
