We're always honored to offer one of Stewart Quandelacy and Priscilla Lasiloo's iconic Medicine-bears
). Stewart's mother was noted carver Ellen Quandelacy (d) who learned the art from her father Johnny Quam (d). The Quandelacy family has helped set standards of workmanship in fetish carving. Smoothly sculpted from white sugar stone marble, this wonderful bear of goodness measures about 2 1/4" long, 3/8" wide and 2 1/8" tall, with turquoise inlaid eyes and alternating heartline. White bears are considered healing in Zuni Pueblo traditional ways.
