Spirited Roadrunner

Roadrunners are spunky and feisty birds who live in desert regions. These terrestrial cuckoos are tough customers who defend their territory and nests against potential threats. They mate for life too. Fabian Tsethlikai carves fabulous roadrunners as seen in a latest offering rendered in picture jasper. The tawny colors call to mind the arid landscapes these feathered friends thrive in. Eyes are from turquoise inlays. Plumage is nicely etched. About 2 1/4" long, 1/2" wide and 1 3/8" tall.
