Self-taught carver Salvador Romero reads the stone and sees the individual animal. He walks near his Cochiti Pueblo home about one to five miles in search of the perfect stone. He has a feeling knowing immediately when he finds the right one. Not just a Bobcat but a bobcat with a sturdy presence. Independent and resilient, wildcats are found throughout North America. About 5" long, 1" wide and 3" tall, sculpted from found stone.
