Shiva Lingam stones are found only in the Narmada River in the Mandhata Mountains of India, a very rare form of quartz that's highly regarded. Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez's lovely corn maiden is carved of this special material, about 2 3/4" tall, 1 3/8" wide and 1 3/4" deep, with an overlaid face of gold lip shell and a turquoise accent. Her shawl is incised with Dragonfly and star designs.
