A dawn approaches, a grand Mountain-lion
(cougar, puma or panther) quietly pauses as an opportunity has presented itself. Christopher Sandoval carved this great hunting cat from rare Death Valley Indian Paint stone, which was collected before it was declared a protected National Park. Soothing tan, brick-red and shimmering brown colors inhabit this stone, which resembles a rising sun on a desert landscape. An intriguingly long tail shows movement and provides balance as this feline patiently waits. Turquoise inlaid eyes know the right time to act. About 5 1/4" long, 1" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
