In 1930, the storybook Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer was given away to customers at the Montgomery Ward department store during the holidays. The story was adapted into a song Gene Autry made famous in 1949. Bryston Bowannie's red coral-nosed reindeer delights at about 2 1/2" long, 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. Sky blue turquoise eyes are inlaid to picture jasper. An offering bundle is laced with heishe and turquoise beads with a bit of movement.
