Raindrop-Shaped Dangle Earrings

By Nancy & Sheldon Westika

This offering is sold.
Expert silversmithing and lapidary skills are required for a successful stone-to-stone inlay presentation. Zuni Pueblo artists Nancy and Sheldon Westika create gorgeous earrings in this challenging technique. Exquisitely set side by side, turquoise and marble look like a million bucks in these approximately 1 3/4" long including hooks and 5/8" wide sterling silver raindrop-shaped earrings. The marble specimens host crystalline variations. They are of a lightweight in wearability. Signed by the artists. Sheldon and Nancy come from the late Johnny Quam and Quandelacy family of artists. Nancy's mother was noted jeweler Anne Gasper Quam who learned jewelry making from her father Johnny Quam. Anne's sister was the late Ellen Quandelacy.
