Spotting a blossom loaded with sweet nectar, Nelson Yatsattie's spectacular violite
Hummingbird (or other feathered friend) darts quickly to refuel. The deep lavendar tones within this stone are appealing like a ripe purple plum, while the bird's turquoise inlaid eyes beautify it further. Delicate etching marks represent little feet. Nelson's brother is prolific master carver Brian Yatsattie. About 3 1/8" long, 3/4" wide and 2" tall.
