Mike Mahooty's father was the late carver Eugene Mahooty who taught Mike the art of animal carving. No doubt he would be proud of his son's elegant cat from a swirling onyx with a flowing, long tail. Turquoise eyes emit an intelligent spirit. An offering bundle has gorgeous turquoise, black marble, iridescent mother-of-pearl and colorful lapis lazuli beads. About 3 1/8" long, 7/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
