Orcas are apex predators and the largest members of the dolphin family. They form family groups called pods and speak their own language. Calvert Bowannie's well-polished black marble and watery mother-of-pearl inlaid orca measures approximately 2" long, 1 5/8" wide and 1 1/8" tall, and is wonderful representation of these magnificent water creatures. It has turquoise inlaid eyes and a drilled blowhole.
