Kenric Laiwakete's amazing orthoceras bushytail (Wolf
) extends to about 4 7/8" long, 1/2" wide and 1 1/4" tall. Orthoceras grew their own shells, accommodating expansion through a new dividing wall called a septa, which are identifiable by the curved lines seen in the fossils. Two gorgeous orthoceras specimens inhabit this marble. A turquoise heartline, which indicates the breath path of this turquoise-eyed canine, is inlaid in a lovely manner. An etched tail is nice and fluffy.
