Stunning New Lander turquoise and variscite is mined in Nevada. Brian Yatsattie smoothly sculpted a jet-eyed
Snake from a matrix-mottled specimen of New Lander variscite. A slightly lifted head and etched rattler communicate a frightened stance or to appear threatening to predators. Snakes have a lightning association in Zuni Pueblo tradition. About 3 1/4" long, 2 1/4" wide and 1" tall.
