Working behind the scenes in quietude, Brian Yatsattie's small
Owl uses discernment in all its activities. The Zuni Pueblo people refer to an owl as the “Night Grandfather," perhaps because like a wise elder, an owl uses knowledge and good judgment, seeing what others cannot. An owl symbolizes the need to focus on more than what our physical eyes show us, peering deeper to reveal spiritual marvels. Carved from lovely New Lander variscite and inlaid with jet eyes, this beautiful bird measures approximately 1 1/8" tall, 1" wide and 1/8" deep.
