"Mudhead Spirit From The Kiva" Cottonwood Katsina

Tiffany Tsabetsaye's amazing "Mudhead Spirit From The Kiva" katsina is approximately 8" tall, 3 1/8" wide and 3" deep, measurements include the lovely base. Skillfully carved from traditional cottonwood and adorned with colorful acrylic paints, a sacred Mudhead katsina emerges from his kiva home with little "vigas", which are structurally supportive wood beams and etched adobe bricks, doors and windows in burnished detail. The rich purple colors of his blanket and red sash are striking. Signed by the artist.
