Daisy Rose Leonard's directional carving consists of an onyx Eagle, a turquoise Bear, a marble Wolf, a rhyolite Badger and Mountain-lion, all bundled with a serpentine with augite Mole. The Zunis acknowledge six directions and assign a color and an animal to each. These animals are exquisitely carved and their eyes are inlaid of sterling silver. Daisy attached a lovely turquoise bead offering bundle. This piece is perfect for display on a shelf, measuring bout 3 2/8" long, 2 3/8" wide by 2" tall.
