Iridescent smokey mother-of-pearl shell is a beautiful palette for a powerful Medicine-bear, feathered Corn-maidens and Dragonflies to dwell. The shell's natural ombre of soft white to dusky brown is like morning to evening in Zuni Pueblo. The maiden's faces are overlaid gold lip shell, incised and filled with ground jet paste. Corn adorns their bodies. Measurements are approximately 4" long, 1 1/8" wide and 4 1/4" tall which includes the base made from jet.

Our Keshi gallery will be hosting Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez for an Artist Reception during Market Weekend in Santa Fe, NM on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 3 pm to 6 pm.
