A self-taught carver for over 30 years, Salvador Romero has quite the following as collectors adore his essential aesthetic. He says a favorite part of carving is creating something from nothing. One of his signature pieces are Bears with hearts. Salvador recently brought by an etched-eyed bear with a removable heart offering. The heart itself is approximately 1 5/8" long, 1 1/8" wide and 1/4" deep. Together they measure about 5 1/4" tall, 1 5/8" wide and 2 3/4" deep. A wonderful 2-piece set from found stone.
