Studies have found that Mountain-lions
(pumas, cougars or panthers) interact with hundreds of species. They are ecological brokers if you will, who play a direct role in balancing other habitats and animal populations. It was discovered in the greater Yellowstone ecosystem that approximately 11% of local bird species, even some songbirds, feed on mountain lion kills. Lorandina Sheche's turquoise eyed-feline is carved from earthy tidgilite and can be a visual reminder to welcome this important species and protect it where it remains. About 3 3/4" long, 7/8" wide and 1 5/8" tall.
