Frog prepares for the changing of seasons. Expressive eyes are from jet inlays, while body accents are from colorful lapis lazuli and sparkling cultured opal inlays. Nostrils are drilled. Brian descends from an important family of Zuni artists. His mother was Albenita Quandelacy Yunie and his grandmother was renowned carver and jeweler Ellen Quandelacy. Albenita carved simple animals like her grandfather Johnny Quam and mother Ellen. About 1 1/4" long, 1 1/4" wide and 5/8" tall.
