Leaf & Ladybug

By Georgette Quam & Reynold Lunasee

This offering is sold.
Ladybugs are beneficial beetles who actually hibernate in groups in protected places like tree bark, under leaves, inside houses and under rocks. Not all ladybugs are red and black either. Their hard outer wings can be yellow or even black and come in a variety of neat patterns. Georgette Quam Lunasee and Reynold Lunasee's cheery little ladybug is made from apple coral and jet, with both turquoise and jet inlays. It is permanently eating aphids off a gorgeous matrix-rich turquoise leaf. Leaf and ladybug together are about 2 1/2" long, 1 3/4" wide and 5/8" tall.
