Some speculate this was how bats became associated with holidays like Halloween. Bats are beneficial mammals that consume deadly mosquitos. Sculpted from jet, Herbert Halate's turquoise-eyed bat is has lightly etched wings and fur detail plus a cute smile. About 2 1/4" tall, 3" wide and 1 1/8" deep.
