Veronica Poblano is from the greater Teddy Weahkee (d) family of carvers. Her father was noted and iconic Zuni carver Leo Poblano (d), nephew of Teddy Weahkee. Her latest masterwork is this magnificent labradorite bird, absolutely glowing with blue, green and yellow hues. It is permanently perched a top a carved turquoise leaf. Either incised wing is set with a sterling silver and red coral or turquoise cabochon. Lapis and turquoise stones are inlaid along the back of this fine bird that has turquoise eyes. This special fetish will be a treasured addition to any collection. About 3 5/8" long, 2" wide and 2" tall. Extra shipping charges may apply.
