Each sentient animal possesses traits and abilities in its relationship with Mother Earth and Father Sky. These physical, behavioral and spiritual conditions define an animal’s medicine, honored by many Native Peoples. Sherdine Tsatte's lookout
Owl brings good medicine of being careful and watchful in all we do. The Zunis call an owl the Night Grandfather because he does his work at night. Carved from a nicely-weighty pyrite, guardian owl is about 1 5/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1" tall. Fabulous eyes are from iridescent mother-of-pearl beads.
