A fabulous pair of journeying
Turtles or sea turtles are sculpted from angelite and travertine. The turquoise-eyed hatchling's carapace has a gorgeous mosaic inlay from apple coral, iridescent gold lip shell, turquoise and jet. The protective mother has watchful eyes from jet. In Zuni tradition, turtles have a rain association and serve as links to the ancestors. About 2 5/8" long, 2 1/4" wide and 1" tall, by Pansy Natachu.
