Chameleons are intriguing
Lizards that change the color of their scaled skin to communicate or to regulate body temperature. They do so with specialized iridophore skin cells. Incredibly, chameleons have almost 360 degree vision. Nelson Yatsattie's pretty amazing Picasso marble chameleon has already begun altering its etched skin in an array of earthy hues. It spots a meal with turquoise inlaid eyes. About 2 1/2" long, 1 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
