Horned
Owls have distinctive feather tufts on their heads. They provide a sound-reflecting surface contributing to good hearing and also help raptors appear bigger to predators. Hudson Sandy's darling owlet is carved from a matrix rich green turquoise, inlaid with a red coral and turquoise necklace. Fierce eyes are from jet in turquoise. About 1 3/8" tall, 7/8" wide and 5/8" deep.
