As you travel across the high desert of New Mexico you might be lucky to catch a glimpse of horses free to roam the Pueblo lands of San Felipe, Kewa and Cochiti making their living among the sagebrush and juniper. A sighting always feels special, as if a blessing for the journey, and even more so when a new colt is seen among the herd. Wilson Romero who is from Cochiti Pueblo, carved this wonderful Horse from found stone. About 5" long, 1 1/2" wide and 2 3/8" tall.
