Happiness & Strength Mosaic Earrings

Kewa elder and artist Mary C. Lovato has been making jewelry since the 1950's. These wonderful mosaic earrings are classic examples of her signature works. A pleasing mosaic from turquoise, coral and clam shell are overlaid onto a melon shell backing. Sterling silver bands create graphic lines. Mary says of her jewelry "Whoever it may go to, may they have strength, may they have a happy life". About 2" long including handmade silver hooks and 3/4" wide.
