In Asia, ancient stories tell of miners searching for gold in the Gobi desert, often encountering protective griffins guarding vast treasure. A mythological griffin or gryphon has been creatively carved from a particularly stunning Picasso marble by Kevin Chapman. Each side of this stone is very unique, so it's like getting two griffins in one. This powerful creature of legend has the head, wings and talons of an Eagle, and the body and tail of a lion. Turquoise inlaid eyes watch over the cache. About 3" long, 3/4" wide and 2" tall.
