Beavers really do work hard diligently building and maintaining dams in addition to harvesting aquatic plants and woody materials to eat. David Chavez, Jr.'s water creature is carved from a green marble that resembles algae which is also on the menu for these wonderful water stewards. Green algae is also used in combination with other natural materials as a binding agent for lodges. Tireless eyes are from turquoise inlays, while incisors and tail are nicely etched. About 2 5/8" long, 7/8" wide and 1" tall.
