Emerging from under an uprooted tree, Gilbert Bowannie's splendid
Mountain-lion (puma, panther, cougar or leopard) has been carved in a lively stretching stance from zebra stone marble. It has a wonderful feline face with smart eyes from inlaid turquoise. Looks like it'll be a great day for this approximately 3 1/4" long, 1 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall cat. We're admiring the way Gilbert secured the colorful point offering with an "X" cross tie, lovely.
