Fall Season Songbird

The melodious songs from feathered friends are pleasing to the ear like prayers and sacred sounds of hope and connection to Mother Earth. Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez's songbird has signaled through chorus the shifting of seasons to fall. Eyes are from jet inlays and an exquisitely colorful offering bundle has lapis, peridot, citrine, sugilite, garnet, aquamarine, spiny oyster shell and shell beads. Approximately 2 1/4" long, 1 3/8" wide and 1 5/8" tall, sculpted from septarian nodule.
