A fast moving river releases a turquoise-eyed fish to a mighty Eagle's (or a Hawk's) powerful talons in a dynamic scene carved from one portion of Picasso marble. The noisy current is creatively represented by crushed turquoise, while the underwater world is a stunning mosaic from branch red coral, turquoise, sterling silver, mother-of-pearl, orange spiny oyster shell, jet and sparkling cultured opal inlays representing air bubbles. The great hunter's eyes are from inlaid turquoise and mighty wings are intricately detailed. Measurements of this unique work are approximately 3 3/8" tall, 1 5/8" wide and roughly 3 1/8" deep, by master carver Elfina Lowsayatee.
