Amy Wesley continues the tradition of a unique flowing double
Hummingbird design originally used by and Dickie and Ellen Quandelacy (d). Her sterling silver post earrings for pierced ears are inlaid with brilliant turquoise using the channel inlay technique. The darker interlocking bands are actually negative space that becomes darker in the process, rather than inlaid to create the motif. They hang beautifully at about 2 3/4" long and 7/8" wide.
