The prettiest dendritic pattern courses through a gorgeous dolomite that Nelson Yatsattie carved into a wonderful bushytail (
Fox,
Wolf or
Coyote). Turquoise inlays for eyes express a lively spirit, while a fluffy tail is beautifully etched, sgraffito style. About 3 1/2" long, 1" wide and 1" tall. Nelson's brother is prolific carver Brian Yatsattie. They'll occasionally collaborate on a piece. But this great canine is carved by Nelson.
