Corn Maiden represents a deep connection to feminine energy, fertility and abundance as she saved the A:Shiwi (Zuni) from famine and drought by nourishing them with sacred kernels from her body. Ernie Mackel, III's gorgeous Corn-Maiden is sculpted from marble with etched facial features including a lovely coral inlay for a voice of wisdom. Many Dragonflies adorn her, etched and filled with jet paste. About 1 1/2" tall, 5/8" wide and 1/2" deep.
