Contemporary Growing Corn Earrings Of Sterling Silver
Contemporary Growing Corn Earrings Of Sterling Silver
By
Brad Panteah, Zuni-Dine (Navajo)
This offering is sold.
Brad Panteah's sterling silver earrings are all hand-fabricated to feature growing corn presented in a stylized and contemporary manner.
Pueblo people have been growing corn for at least 4000 years. Corn was their main staple. They call corn "the Mother" because of their dependence on the crop and corn's emergence from the primary mother, Earth. These earrings hang at about 2 1/4" long including earring fixture and are 3/4" wide. We love the raised circular element in the center area. One can feel the quality and generous gauge of sterling silver in these beauties. Signed by the artist.
