Cherished Pottery Bowl

Acoma Pueblo potter Rachel Concho learned traditional pottery making from her mother Santana Cerno (d). Garnering many awards, her potteries are displayed in noted museums including the Smithsonian Institution. Now a wonderful Acoma elder, she still produces dynamic works like this lovely collectible bowl. You can feel and see the love she put into creating this fabulous piece. It is hand-coiled with rich natural clay and hand-painted with pigments depicting traditional designs so gorgeous you can't take your eyes off it. Approximately 2 3/4" tall, 5 1/4" wide and 5" deep.
