The late great Zuni artist Leekya Deyuse was one of the originals who started carving leaf designs into jewelry. Today Lyolita Tsatte often utilizes the leaf motif in her work. A latest offering is a gorgeous handmade sterling silver, carved turquoise leaf and red coral pendant. The turquoise leaf design is complimented by a stamped silver leaf. The carved coral reminds us of a little caterpillar. Measurements of the colorful pendant are about 1 1/4" long, 3/4" wide and 3/8" deep including the bale. Signed by the artist.
